So here I am down in Medford at the Ebert Homestead visiting for a few days. No, Ann isn’t forcing me to run to kingdom come and back. We did go to the gym this morning and it felt great to workout after not exercising for a few days. I stayed at the gym and did my usual workout, but Ann’s running trainer DID force her to run to kingdom come and back, even after doing a 5K last night! Ann is amazing. I’m not sure I need much more working out after following Emma thither and yon all over the property here.
I did attend the Weight Watchers meeting in Eugene on Tuesday since I was there visiting mom and dad. I lost 3 pounds! Even after eating m&m’s at mom’s two consecutive days in a row (in limited dixie-cup amounts). I’m hoping the pound loss isn’t just because there’s a difference in the scales at each location. Darilyn, I hope you are having a good week!
Ann just invited me to go walk the route she’ll be running in the morning with her running partner. Here’s a bit of our conversation.
“What time are you going?”
“5:00″.
“5:00 in the morning.” (Looking at Ann with the you’ve-got-to-be-kidding look)
“5:00.”
“You’re going running at 5:00am.”
“Yep.”
“I am not going at 5:00. Six o’clock is okay for me, but I draw the line at 5 o’clock.”
So, I’m sleeping in tomorrow.
LOVE IT! I’m jealous of your fun! Watch out-Ann works about 50 mph faster then any of us. And that’s not just walking or running, that’s just how her live is. She’s so darn good at it too. Keep loosing sis!

you’re telling me, girl! She dragged me out to the garden and said I had to thin the corn before I could have a treat and go to bed! Slavedriver. We’re having fun. Emma isn’t going to want to go home. love you! Rachel
