This morning I went out to Gold Hill and ran in a 10k race. There was maybe 100 participants and about 65 of them did the 5k run/walk and the remaining 35 did the 10k (6.2 miles). I PR’d 6 minutes for a time of 51.57 minutes. That’s a 8.30 minute mile. I have not ran a race that fast ever!!!!! It was a hard run. But I just had to share that with ya’ll. I am looking forward to the Butte to Butte in July and then the Hood to Coast in August. I have some pretty lofty running goals for this summer – let’s hope I can do this.

ps – I love it when we all blog regularly. I check the fitsisters sight several times a week, especially on days that I need some encouragement. Thanks sisters!
