Hey All. It has been way too long since my last update. Sorry, the holidays and two little kids got in the way. Anyhoot, I am still doing weight watchers. I am on my 20th week and have lost 17 pounds. I am a bit dissappointed however, because my original goal was to loose one pound a week and I am behind schedule. I am starting to get a little burnt out on the program, but I told myself I wouldn’t quit until I reached my goal. I am pretty proud of my weight loss so far. I just can’t stop thinking that I am not even half way there.
I have been working out religiously, as always (my obsession). I am at the gym five days a week. I have been running three days and doing weight training two days a week. I finally made a schedule of what exercises I would do each day and that really helps so that I am not just waking up and doing whatever I felt like. I am still struggling with my enormous appetite from working out, but I have found a good smoothie with some energy powder (Apex Brand) will help.
I hope to run a 5k in March just to track my progress and then push for a better time at the pear blossom 5k in April, and then its go-hard training for the 10k butte to butte in July.
The only tip I have for everyone is that It is okay to feel hungry! I have fed that hunger feeling for so long during pregnancy and nursing, that I had to really understand my hunger levels.
I am hoping to loose more than a pound this week so wish me luck! And I can’t wait to see my fellow sisters this weekend! It isn’t coming soon enough.

Sara:
I’m so proud of your 17 pound loss! You have worked so hard to get there and you look great.
Thanks for your tip that it’s okay to feel hungry. I needed that. I have been in the pig out nursing stage for the past few months, but I’m ready to slow down and really tune in to my hunger levels.
