It’s me.
Hi everyone, it’s been awhile. too long in fact. I’m doing great. I’ve lost 21 lbs since mid-september. No, i’m not doing Weight Watchers, No, I haven’t upped my work-out. I’ve been taking a prescription medication called Phentermine. I LOVE it. It has totally worked for me. I went to my doctor in September and pretty much had a melt down in his office. After maintaining my weight loss for 2 years, i had gained pretty much all of it back since February. I was so sad and felt at a loss of what to do. To make matters worse, my blood sugar was borderline, my blood pressure was borderline and my cholesterol was still high. I have a genetic component for the Cholesterol and have been fighting it since I was in my early 20’s and was a size 8. I have been hoping my diet and exercise that I could get it to go down, but it hasn’t and so I finally had to go on meds for it. I hate that I’ve joined the ranks of America that has to take a daily medication. It makes me feel old. And I feel in my heart that I’m still young. So it’s a hard thing for me. But anyway, we were talking about my weight and i asked him about weight loss medication. He told me about 3 different options and I chose the cheapest one. I love it. My blood sugar has completely gone down into the normal range. (I checked it at my dad’s who has to check my step mom’s several times a day) So i’m feeling pretty good. Now, what happens when I go off this stuff you may be asking? I have no idea honestly. It’s a life line at this point. It makes me mad that I can’t eat like this without the drug. I’ll keep y’all posted. Keep on with all the good work.

I am happy to hear that after trying many things to control your weight, you might have found the best option! I am very curious and hope the very best for you! No matter what way we all choose to deal with this, we are still battling the same problem! Good Luck!
